WE NEED ATTITUDE OF KENNEDY AGYAPONG TO DEVELOP GHANA -GROUP

Currently, the Human Development Agenda was set forth by the United Nations in 1990.

The UN asserted that the focus of development must be PEOPLE; more especially, development must lead to a long healthy life, acquisition of knowledge and access to resources needed for a decent standard of living (UNDP 1990:10)

These were subsequently captured into the Human Development Index (HDI).

The developmental goals indicated in this respect included poverty reduction, education and health standards (DAC OECD 1997:3)

Amazingly, Hon. Ken Agyapong is vigorously honouring this human development through; taking care of most Ghanaian students from basic to tertiary level, Creation of job opportunities, employing and educating Ghanaians on entrepreneurship development, giving capital to the poor and

needed Ghanaians to start up business, making health insurance and payment of hospital bills to vulnerable Ghanaians, speaking for the poor and

less privileges and most importantly, he loves Ghana first in all his activities.

Base on this note, a firebrand group says, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong is the only man who is putting down his life for the betterment and the development of the nation.

The group, WE ARE HONOURABLE KENNEDY AGYAPONG is optimistic, the Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP) is fighting and toiling his blood for the economic stability and human development of Ghana.

Speaking to the Founder and Leader of the group, Mr. Abrefa Gyan said, the Honourable Member always speaks the truth but Ghanaians see him as controversial.

He added that, if the country is able to produce at least five personalities of Hon. Ken, the country will get onto the success road.

To the group, Ghana needs leaders who can boldly point out the fact not leaders who will shield corruption and keep mute over unwarranted paths of the country by some cruel individuals for their parochial interest.

" We need calibres like Ken Agyapong to move Ghana forward ", he stressed.

'WE ARE FOR KEN', is an association protecting and fighting for the course of the Assin Central MP. The lead they describe as " man of the nation". Citizen who has Ghana in his heart according to them, is Hon. Ken.

The group consists of hundreds of people including the aforementioned Founder and Leader (Chairman) of the group, Mr. Adane Frank and Madam Naomi.

Finally, the group is calling on all Ghanaians to emulate Mr. Kennedy Agyapong to help develop Ghana.
