KUMASI WAHALA; PASSENGERS ACCUSE DRIVERS OF RUBBING THEIR THIGHS Female passengers have accused commercial drivers especially taxi cabs and ‘trotro’ drivers over what they describe as ‘deliberate thigh rubbing’. There have been several complains from section of the public particularly women that, some drivers intentionally rub their thighs through the process of operating the gears in their vehicles. Speaking to SILVER NEWS, some ladies in the Kumasi Metropolis (KM) who normally sit at the front seat of taxi cabs and ‘trotro’ close to the driver disclosed that, the drivers utilize on the gearing to stroke their hands through their thighs. “As if they’re busily operating their service BUT with the intention drawing your attention for catchy and sexy talks”, a lady revealed. Another woman disclosed that, “If you express no concern, he will persist rubbing your thighs till you alight from the vehicle”. On their part, the drivers have refuted the claims made against them by the ladies justifying that, “no driver will intentionally rub female passenger’s thigh. We can never do that all”.
