Wansamire community cries over poor health care as uncompleted health facility left to rot
Residents of Wansamire in the Atwima Nwabiagya North
of the Ashanti region have decry the poor health care in the midst of COVID19
as health facility started by the chief of the community is abandoned.
Akwadaa Nyame reports that the facility which has
bungalows for health care providers, OPD and others departments are left
unattended after it reached roofing stage.
Speaking to Nana Kwabena Frimpong, Chief of
Wansamire, he told Akwadaa Nyame that the facility was started with his own
funds where the community later came into support until the DCE of the area
donated woods for the roofing.
He said the facility has come into a halt as they’re
unable to access funds to complete the project.
He has therefore appealed to the government for
support.
