Abrefa Gyan rebukes Political Figures behind Togo Landers

Leader and Founder of We’re For Ken group Worldwide, Abrefa Gyan has stated that, it makes no sense for a certain group to call for separation from Ghana after independence.

A group in the Volta Region calling themselves Western Togolanders is demonstrating to leave Ghana thereby launching attacks in some parts of the areas to prove their course.

According to the group, they do not belong to Ghana and they want their areas of habitat to be named Western Togoland.

Including their attacks were blocking of the Volta Regional Highways leading to the other towns. Beat passengers and robbed others through the process.

The Police Commander of the area and some police officers were overpowered by these group and were subsequently kidnapped which took the intervention of a whole National Security Forces to save them and retrieved the lost amunitions taken by the so called Western Togolands.

 

 In less than a week, the group also launched another attacked on State Transport Company (STC) in the Volta Regional Capital, Ho. Some buses were burnt without recognition and drivers present at the time of the incident sustained minor injuries.

Citizens not excluding experts on the field of security have been calling on the government and the security agencies to go hard on them without show no mercy.

Others have also urged the government to negotiate with them but the call of the negotiation have been turned down by the government.

The Vice President, Dr. Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia commenting on the call rubbished saying "Government can't negotiate with criminals".

Speaking to FILAMAN, the Chairman of the group dubbed, "WE ARE FOR HON. KENNEDY AGYAPONG WORLDWIDE" ABREFA GYAN asserted that, the group’s argument holds no water. He said, the country has used our natural resources such as Gold, Diamond, Bauxite, Timber, Cocoa etc. to develop every corner of the country including the portion that the group is claiming for hence making it funny to hear such allegations from the separatists that they do not belong to Ghana.

He’s therefore calling on the government and the security agencies to up their games in order to tame these people from causing mayhem in the country as election is nearing.

But he was also surprised how the group has sparked in this crucial time believing that, there are some big political figures indulging the illicit activities of the so called separatists group in the Volta Region.

Without hesitation, Mr. Gyan has cautioned those nation wreckers behind the illegal agenda of the Western Lands to quench their activities else they will be disgraced as their evil deeds are at the blink of exposing.
