*SOBOLO,GINGER NOT PANACEA TO COVID 19*

The Spokesperson for the Government on COVID 19 has sternly disclosed that, the locally manufactured drink, *SOBOLO and ginger* are not solution to Coronavirus pandemic.

According to the Information Minister, majority of Ghanaians have resulted into drinking of SOBOLO and chewing of ginger rather than wearing nose mask to prevent the virus.

Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah said, this attitude is worsening the fight against the pandemic which is very worrying.

He was quick to add that,  if the rising of the virus keep going up, the government will have no option to put us inside adding that this lockdown will be too stricter than the earlier one looking at the situation and the rapid increase.

The Information Minister and the Member of Parliament for Ofoase Ayerebi , Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah is therefore entreating citizenry to comply with the Covid protocols in order to avert future lockdown or stern restriction.

The Honourable Minister designate for Information was speaking to the press today in Accra.
