WE HATE THEIR ATTITUDES NOT THE PERSONALITY-CHRISTIAN COUNCIL CHAIR
Most Reverend Paul Kwabena Boafo, the Chairman of the Christian Council of Ghana(CC-G) has elaborated that, the society doesn't hate the individuals engaging in LGBT+ but said it only frowns on their attitudes.
He said attitudes such as Lesbianism, gaysm and transgender, bisexual, heterosexual etc. etc. are acts prohibited by our societies.
He was speaking on Silver FM's Omanbapa Morning Show with Nana Ampratwum.
The Christian Council Chairman stated that, the aforementioned acts have no place in our societies hence urging individuals involving and supporting such activities to halt their engagements else Ghana will not be a suitable place for them since the country is not ready to accept their activities.
"Is abomination for a country to torelate gay,lesbiañ and the others and Ghana is not and will not entertain such things",.
We the members of the Christian Council don't hate them but we hate their activities thereby they should stop engaging in that evil acts", Most Rev. Boafo added.
LGBTQIA+ has become a bone of contention in the country amidst novel COVID 19 pandemic.
The group is calling for freedom and protection to freely engage in their service in Ghana without fear or intimidation from any person or bodies.
They want the law to especially Human Section to protect them but the country and almost all it's citizens oppose the decision.
