FUFUO COMMUNITY GETS WATER AFTER SILVER FM's AKWADAA NYAME's REPORT


Water is life but this expression sounded strange to the of people Fufuo Community in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti Region.

Our earlier report last week by our reporter, Akwadaa Nyame revealed that, the people of Fufuo are suffering for water over scarcity.

According to the report, females in the area will be lucky to even bath once a day not talking about the men.

Sharing their ordeal to Akwadaa in the report last week, some women disclosed that, they bath twice or thrice a week because their only source of has dried out and they resorting to using satchete water to wash themselves making difficult to bath twice a day.

The unit committee chairman, Rockson Ntiamoah in the that interview revealed that, at the time of filling that report, he was unbath for some days all because of the aforementioned problem facing the community.

The report reached the District Chief Executive (DCE) of the District, Mrs. Rebecca Yeboah on that same day.

Fortunately, two days after the report, Four Boreholes have been erected for the community by the DCE.

This was confirmed today on Silver Omanbapa Morning Show by the Chief and the Unit Committee Chairman of Fufuo, Nana Ntiamoah and Rockson Ntiamoah respectively.

The Chairman told the host of the show, Nana Ampratwum that, the community is most grateful to the Almighty, Silver FM and the DCE.
