KIDNEY: NOT ALL HUMAN BEINGS HAVE TWO - DR. ELLIOT reveals
Kidney Specialist at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), Dr. Tannor Elliot Koranteng has disclosed that, not all human beings have two kidney.
He said some persons have two whiles others have one due to some circumstances in their system.
He elaborated that a person can survive and enjoy a happy live with one kidney if care is taking.
To maintain and improve the strength of your kidney, Dr. Elliot advised Ghanaians to drink more water.
The Kidney Specialist admonished to all citizenry to drink at least Five-Six (5-6) bottles of 0.5ltr of water daily to for a healthy kidney.
Research has shown that, 13% of Ghanaians are suffering Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).
He added that the Chronic Kidney Disease is claiming lives of the aged, young, children etc. daily hence the need to prevent it.
Kidney Specialist, Dr. Tannor Elliot Koranteng made this known to the public in an interview with Nana Ampratwum on Omanbapa Morning Show on Silver FM today.
