ADANKWAME: CLASSROOMS ROOF RIPED-OFF*

It is so sad an pathetic to see our future leaders roaming around without school because of some unfortunate incidents.

The R/C Basic School students of Adankwame in the Atwima Nwabiagya North of the Ashanti Region are compelled to stay home as their school classroom blocks has been riped off by rainstorm.

Silver FM's correspondent, Kwame Wiredu a.k.a Sanitation Ambassador who visited the place reported that, Class Four (4), Class Three (3), Class Five(5) and the blocks have all gotten their roofs taken away by a downpour.

The Assembly Member of the area, Hon. Paul Yeboah Asiamah disclosed to us that, they have written to the necessary quarters but yet to receive help to put back the roofs for the students and teachers to go on their normal duties.

Osei Yaw, a Unit Committee Member of Adankwame also revealed to Sanitation Ambassador that, the appalling situation has been there for over Three days without help from nowhere to re-roof the blocks.

Kwame Wiredu elaborated the dangers of the situation to students aside lack of studies.

Owura disclosed on Omanbapa Morning Show during the report that, the live electrical cables are stacked under the debris posing threats to students playing around and passers.

The media and the Community are therefore calling on authorities to as a matter of urgency rectify the situation.
