MY PILLAR IS NO MORE-JUSSAG PRESIDENT MOURNS LATE SAU
The President of the Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSSAG) has saddenly disclosed that, his life time defender is down.
According to Mr. Alex National who also doubles as the National Coordinator for the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) said, the late Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Marful -Sau was a pillar behind his success in the Judicial Service.
Justice Marful-Sau was a member of the 7-member Supreme Court panel that decided the 2020 Election Petition brought before the Court by former President John Dramani Mahama.
He was appointed to the Court in 2018 by President Nana Akufo-Addo.
Marful-Sau was admitted to practice in Ghana as a Barrister-at-Law and Solicitor in 1984 and served briefly as a prosecutor in the office of the Special Public Prosecutor from August 1984 to July 1986.
In 2002, he was appointed a Justice of the High Court and was elevated four years later to the Court of Appeal where he served until he was appointed to the Supreme Court in 2018.
Reacting to the news on Silver FM's Morning Show today, JUSSAG President, Mr. Nartey told the host, Ampratwum that, he is the most hurt person to the death of Justice Sau.
He said, the late Justice has served and taken the country to highest level especially his broader knowledge in oil exploration in Ghana.
