BOSOME FREHO: PUPILS STUDY UNDER TERRIBLE WOODEN STRUCTURE
The fate of the pupils and teachers of Ampaha Basic School in the Bosome Freho District of the Ashanti Region lie in the hands of the Almighty as they are compelled to take their studies and teachings in deplorable structures made by woods.
The situation is appaling that, teaching and learning must stop when rain starts drizzling to avert any possible chaos.
And due to its nature, end product of lizards, birds, dogs, chicken etc. have engulfed the classrooms untidying the blocks.
The Assembly Member of the locality, Hon. Boakye De-Graft Maxwell speaking to the issue on the Omanbapa Morning Show confirmed saying all efforts to get the problem solved have not yielded resource.
"We are doing what we can to alleviate the challenge by renovating and construction of new rooms but as it stands, the situation is very disheartening", Hon. Maxwell told Ampratwum on Silver FM's morning show.
He appealed to government, the assembly, NGOs and all afluent individuals to intervene and come to their aid.
