LACK OF CLASSROOM BLOCK FORCES PUPILS TO STUDY IN CHURCH
Education as we say is the backbone of every nation.
Ghana government has taken some bold steps such as the F-SHS, the Double Traffic etc. policies to make education free for all in the country and also the quest to building the nation Ghana.
But some parts of the country mainly the rural areas pass through some level of uncomfortable situations to enjoy this cake as some students study under trees, sit on blocks and bear floor, learn under sun-rays and all sort of difficult to take their studies.
One of such communities is in Jaman North District of the Bono Region called, KABILE.
The Assembly member of the area, Hon. Samuel Sie in an interview with filasconews has revealed that, KG pupils of Kabile Presbyterian Primary school have to sit in church to take their studies due to lack of classroom blocks.
He said the church auditorium has now become classroom for these students and their teachers.
Government through the ministry of education has been entreated to build classrooms for the pupil as the other structures of the school are not in good shape.
Hon Sie Samuel also touched on the poor drainage systems in the district and calls on the Member of parliament, Hon. Yaw Ahenkwa Fredrick to take up the matter to the Central government.
