LGBT+: NANANOM SHOULD TAKE UP THE FIGHT-QUEEN MOTHER
LGBTQ2+ is an abbreviation that stands for: lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (or sometimes questioning), and two-spirited.
The plus-sign signifies a number of other identities, and is included to keep the abbreviation brief when written out.

The issue or the activities of these group of persons have taken a center stage in discussion in Ghana now.
As majority of the populace push for the bill to preventing the acts of such people in the country; spoonful number of persons are also fighting against it base on human right's grounds.
Taken turn in the discussion during media interview, the Queen Mother of Abon-Suaaso near Tepa in the Ahafo Ano North District of the Ashanti Region has tasked traditional leaders to lead the fight against the existence of LGBTQIA+ activities in their localities.
According to Nana Has ASABEA (ii), the issue becoming a bone of contention in the media space and taken a center stage in Ghana now is because of its empowerment by some faceless heavy hands in the country hence the strong involvement of Nananom to stand firm against any move promoting the idea.
Nana Asabea said Chiefs and Queens are the custodians of the lands and it's people thus must protect them.
She has warned the 8th parliament not to tarnish their image by tolerating the activities of LGBTQ+ and charged traditional leaders to have a word with their MPs to back the illegalization and criminalising it by supporting the bill before them.
She finally admonished for the live telecasting of the election on the passage of the bill in parliament saying the people must know what their Member of Parliament stood for.
