If you don’t need our views don’t invite us again-General Mosquito to EC

JOHN ASIEDU NKETIA-NDC GENERAL SECRETARY
General Secretary for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Asiedu Nketia popularly known as General Mosquito has criticized Electoral Commission (EC for what he termed as disdainful tone.

According to him, Bossman’s comments on the EC’s decision to compile a new voter’s register were inimical to the peace and stability of the country.

Although the EC insists that all political parties at a meeting agreed for a new electoral roll, the NDC, on the other hand, says such an agreement has never been reached.
Reacting to the claims by the NDC, Dr. Asare intimated that, the EC will not engage in any partisan media banter, a comment General Mosquito did not take gently.

In response, Asiedu Nketia advised the commission to go and learn from the previous commissioners.

“I am shocked. These EC commissioners are danger and a threat to the peace and stability of this country from their posture and body language. They need to go and learn some lessons from erstwhile leaders of the commission. This kind of disdain and behaviour, we are not going to accept it. They should better position themselves.”

According to him the EC is working in favour of the ruling government.

He has therefore called on the commission to dessert NDC in impending IPAC meetings if their opinions are needless.

EVANS NIMAKO-NPP DIRECTOR OF ELECTIONS
Meanwhile Evans Nimako the Director of Elections for the New Patriotic Party in rebuttal said he is shock about the gestures and the tones of the NDC and sure NDC is afraid that, this EC administration will also favour NPP like what Charlotte Osei was trying to do in order to rig the 2016 election for them (NDC).

But said the New Patriotic Party is much interested in fulfilling their promises made to Ghanaians not the false claims from the NDC.

He said all these arguments on the part of the largest opposition party are to destruct the good agendas of Nana Addo and NPP and also to execute their plans of painting EC black worlwide.

"We're focused as a party and won't be disturbed by their qualms", he quickly added.
