Residents Lament over Collapsed Bridge

TOO BAD
Residents of Asubonteng-Kokoso in the Bantama Constituency are complaining bitterly about their collapsed foot bridge which links the two communities.

Speaking in an interview with the media, the residents revealed that, the bridge has been collapsed twice due to the widening course of the river.

They added that they find it difficult to pass by whenever it rains.

Since it is the main route for the people living in the community, students also find it difficult to cross the bridge. If care is not taken the risky state of the route may cause harm to the residents.

Life has become threatened when passing by especially school children.
“We are not able to cross the bridge to school when the river overflows. Without the help of benevolent, we’ll be forced to stay home”, they said.

They are therefore pleading with the government to respond immediately before the worst happen.
