Empower Electronics Manufacturers to Prevent Future mishap – OMAN BERLIN to GOV’T
It is part of government plan to support
local businesses. Through which it initiated numerous policies and
interventions to help local industries.
Such as partnering private people to
achieving one of his major policies, One District One Factory (1D1F) is part of
the efforts to improve Ghanaian business.
But to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of
Oman Berlin Phones and Accessories, Sule Baah Bertie affectionately called,
Oman Berlin, the government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo is doing more to
help the people and Ghanaian businesses but Oman Berlin believes most of the
government’s interventions, policies, projects benefit mostly farmers.
He
said, government should turn his eye to the electronics field too to empower
dealers and support people who are into it production to produce more in order
to avert future misfortunes.
He admonished to the government to lend a
supporting hand to engineers like Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo to manufacture a lot of
products especially electronics in the country.
Reiterating his words to rebuts Ghana Union
Traders Association’s (GUTA) decision to protect it’s members from importing
from China and other countries in the midst of the killer disease, Coronavirus
brouhaha, Sule Baah said it will seriously affect business men in the country
if continues for long.
He stressed that, business men like himself
who always import goods from such areas will collapse and become unemployed in
the coming years.
He therefore appealed to the government to
include mobile phone companies by supporting citizens who have the knowledge to
fabricate more phones and other electronics to save the business in times of neighbouring
countries hardship and high demands.
He said this at the official launching of his renovated and modernised phone shop at Adum, beside new Melcome and Opposite the New one.
