KUMASI ZOO TO BE REOPENED ON SATURDAY-WILDLIFE DIVISION

Kumasi Zoo which has been closed down over months is set to be opened soon.

This was made known on Omanbapa Morning Show on Silver FM in Kumasi by the Public Relations Manager, Wild-Life Division, Ms. Enerstina Adumea Anie.

Speaking on the *Celebration of Wild-Life Day* today, Madam Adumea told the host of the show, Nana Ampratwum that, it is important we take responsibility to protect our forest.

She said, doing this will help preventing and protecting our animals from getting scarce.

Touching on species like tiger and lion numbers in the country, Ms. Anie disclosed that, the Lions as well as the tigers are gradually disappearing hence calling on all to support the Division's effort to protect animals and the forest.

Touching on the reopening date of the Kumasi Zoo, Ms. Adumea Anie revealed that, the Zoo will be opened on Saturday, February 6, 2021.
