#FixTheCountry: The country must be fixed but it will take time-Political Analyst Some Ghanaians mostly celebrities begun social media campaign dubbed, #FixTheCountry. It is to put the government on toes to resolve economic hardship in the country. It gathered momentum and most Ghanaians supported the move by planning demonstration against the government on the theme but their plan was halted after the police received injunction against them. According to the section of Ghanaians, the recent hardship in the country is unbearable hence need immediate fixing. Commenting on the issue on Silver FM’s morning show, a Political Analyst asserted the fact that the country needs to be fixed but it will take time to manifest. He said it is a wakeup call for the government to up their game. Mr. Boakye Yiadom disclosed to the host of the Omanbapa Morning show, Nana Kwabena Ampratwum that, he’s in support of the ideas of the people to put the government on toes but against some unpalatable utterances from some of the campaigners against the powers that be. Mr. Boakye Yiadom elaborated that, Ghanaians want better-face to their motherland but must be on a polite manners to draw the attention of the leaders not in a recalcitrant way. “It is good to call on the leaders to develop the nation but we should avoid the use of derogatory and abusive words”, Mr. Boakye Yiadom added. ….
