MY MEN WILL RETALIATE...-POLICE COMMANDER

The Divisional Police Commander of Assin-Fosu, ACP Augustine Luguyare has elaborated that, his men will no longer tolerate unnecessary attacks on them by some section of the residents in Assin Fosu henceforth.

According to the Police Chief, attacking police officers on duty has been rampant in the Central Region specifically Assin Fosu.

He said, people always resist arrest from the police after committing crime and gets support from their neighbours who come in to beat the police.

ACP Augustine Luguyare was addressing the press after his men on duty were attacked, beaten to pulp for trying to make arrest at Assin-Akonfede.

The police officers were attacked by the lovers of the suspect and beat them, fred the suspect.

This according to the police Scribe will no longer be accepted under his command.

" The police are there to protect you but if you keep these illegal attacks on us, we will have no option than ourselves".
